Sacred Blasphemer

A sacred blasphemer is a sanctist who has taken it upon themselves to know of the divine in order to teach coming saints. As knowledge of, and speaking of divinity is considered strictly forbidden and blasphemous, these people make the ultimate sacrifice. They believe they will never feel the embrace of true divinity in death by educating those sacred few who have felt the embrace in life.

The title of sacred blasphemer can only be granted by another sacred blasphemer. It is a title held in the highest regard, and is seen as sanctist's foremost religious authority, second only to saints themselves.

The term was originally coined by Zēlos, a blasphemer turned saint.
