The rift between Han Chinese and their Genasi neighbors has become a pit of mistrust and hatred by the III century AD. While China went through a period of overpopulation, shortage of food, and mass starvation, at first the people's hatred turned not towards their neglectful rulers that were living in abundance, but towards the Genasi which didn't need that much in terms of supplies. They had it easier, and that's why they had to pay. Chinese Earth Genasi started migrating en masse to the kingdom of Eastern Wu, the most progressive and inclusive of all Chinese kingdoms at the time. But even there they could find peace only for short fifty years, for Wu was conquered by a unifying Han force of the Jin dynasty, forged in hatred towards Inhumans.

Разрыв между китайскими людьми и генаси превратился в пропасть к началу 3 века. В Китае начался массовый голод, и гнев народный обратился не против беззаботных правителей, живших в богатых дворцах и не знавших недоедания, но против нелюдей. Генаси не нужно так много еды и воды, как людям, так что они легче переживали потрясения в Китае. Людей это злило. Когда начались первые погромы, земные генаси бежали в царство У на востоке Китая, но и там покой их продлился лишь полвека. У завоевала династия Цзинь, новая сила в Китае, выкованная в ненависти к нелюдям, приписывающая им все смертные грехи.
