Mäsvell Dinmaar

West of Zyendil Maar and north of Den Svyärr, is Mäsvell Dinmaar. This province is thick with lush and beautiful forests. The natural mountain of its borders acts as its means of keeping this province comfortably warm. Many natural resources have made Mäsvell Dinmaar one of the wealthiest provinces. Thousands of kingdoms span this land, many resting on its coasts and in the natural crescent bay or on the islands surrounding.

One of the largest of the kingdoms is Gethyahl. The House of Gethyahl found their niche in textile production. They have produced luxurious leathers and cloths for centuries on their island. Their textiles are desired in every province. Naturally they have competition, but lesser Houses seldom produce on the quality level known of Gethyahl.

On the mainland, farming villages rival the textile industries of Mäsvell Dinmaar in size. Much of the land is rich and fertile, however uneven and not flat like Vindyarr Khrïn. A good portion of these farms produce renowned wines and alcohols. Each as unique as there are numbers of the vineyards and breweries.

Within the forest are scattered city-states and kingdoms. One is the small city-state of Mä Lahvä. Mä Lahvä is settled on the lake of Selgärr. This city-state, like the Valgaartiran is made up of many Houses and people. Their industry is fishing in their lake, but these fish aren’t just any. Fresh-water fish in Ënokh are a popular food source; their taste being actually palatable compared to salt-water life.

Geography

Many rivers run through Mäsvell Dinmaar’s natural mountain ranges. Some have been redirected by Andeamer hands to assist in trade and travel into the province. One in particular is the Vaulehsoith. The Vaulehsoith begins in coastal Vindyärr Khrïn were the Valgaartiran is situated on the coast and stretches North to wrap around Zyendil Maar. Along the way, this river has many off-shoots leading to other kingdoms for trade and commerce. The Vaulehsoith drain into the ocean, ending in the near-center of the crescent bay. On this journey nearly six-hundred kingdoms and city-states are supplied with steady trade all thanks to the Valgaartiran.

Selgärr and the lakes of Mäsvell Dinmaar have been separated from the ocean for millennia, long enough to produce an interesting variety of creatures. Each lake has its own peculiar eco-system. Lake Selgärr is the largest lake in the province and is the final destination for the Vaulehsoith trade network.

The Western and Northeastern coasts of Mäsvell Dinmaar are seldom sea-level beaches, instead they are jagged cliffs with steep falls into the ocean. It is the inner coast of the bay that is the more popular coastline due to its beaches and warmth. The Northeastern coast receives much of Vinde Yal Mäsvyel and the arctic circle's frigid winds and cold climate, but it won't snow here. The very Northwestern most area of the province reaches into the North pole of Ënokh. This gradient of climate varies from icefields like those in Vinde Yal Mäsvyel to the the cold marshes of Vindyarr Khrïn and finally resuming the temperate this province is known for. The Northern half of the bay is a maze of an archipelago. Numerous isles break calm waters in every direction. A few isolated Houses have established themselves here, but these isles are also known to harbor "free-cities", fugitives, and smugglers.

The mainland of Mäsvell Dinmaar is covered in forrests. The most dense regions sit at the foothills of the mountain range border, in sea-level basin. The rest of this province varies in altitudes as much of it is mountainous like Vinde Yal Mäsvyel. The numerous city-states, kingdoms, and villages here often don't expand due such terrain. Attempts to level mountain and valleys for farming are typically more costly and dangerous than trading with other well-supplied peoples. Some places in Mäsvell Dinmaar have been tamed for easier travel to allow such trade, but Andeamer will seldom expand routes more than needed due to their religious beliefs.

Natural Resources

Stray further from the coast and one can easily get lost in the forests. The natives of this province seldom explore the true depths of the forests. Danger lurks in every shady tree should one not being aware of their surroundings. Traversing these beautiful jungles is not a feat taken lightly. Only so many acres have been covered by maps. Andeamer superstition believes much of these forrests to be inhabited by ätherä and beings of the void. Some may be helpful and kind to travellers and show them safe passages through while others are evil and trap people within the forests. Naturally, the forestry industry is large in Mäsvell Dinmaar, however as per Andeamer belief and reverence for Ënokh, they must replace all they take from their natural resources.   In the mountains and valleys of this province are plentiful ores, minerals, and precious gems. On the other side of their mountain border leading into Den Svyärr is abundant granite. Andeamer typically mine these sources for jewelry and architecture, however the few more advance civilizations will use these resources in their technology. Granite is a commin building material for the people of Vindyarr Khrïn, but in Mäsvell Dinmaar transportation is not always easy and used more sparsely. Here, adding on to the natural landscape is more common that shaping it into a city. The settlements of Mäsvell Dinmaar have made building there settlement according to the landscape an art form. The ideal being civilization completely flush the natural surroundings.   Edible crops here are much the same as in the other provinces, but grown in smaller quantities. However particular flora used to create textiles flourishes in the cracks of the mountains or grows wild on lush valley slopes. These are harvested year-round, alternating between seasons and traded throughout Ënokh.
