The Valgaartiran Mirkh
The Valgaartiran boasts the largest and most powerful military in Enokh. Smaller kingdoms both fear and respect the Valgaartiran for this, however the Valgaartiran seldom intervenes outside their own affairs. Their standing military is made up of the velaatha (capital-shield) and mahyaas (blocking-hand) bodies. From those two bodies they are split even further into specialized regimes and groups. The velaatha is the primary body, it is the Valgaartiran military. The mahyaas is the militaries from kingdoms or city states the Valgaartiran has either absorbed or have been pledged to assist the Valgaartiran.
- Sessïn - Platoon: Platoons are made up of 20 mirkhü, soldiers, and led by the mirkhülen, a captain. The seven platoons in a fätlässe are named after the andeamer’s gods, Älëas, Mïzaïrn, Dïbe, etc…, Mirkhülen receive orders from their mirkhesen.
- Fätlässe - Legion: Legions are made up of seven sessïn. They are led by a mirkhanen who is allotted eight legions. Beneath the mirkhanen are three mirkhesenath. Each fätlässe has its own name and often chooses a new one when its mirkhanen has been retired or succeeded. It mimics the tradition of House name changes upon the death of the last clan-house member.
- The names of the fätlässe may be anything ranging from a weapon of legends such as Rit’Vïdaale, Dïbe’s spear-sword, an animal of Enokh like the Mihthvyaal, and even saints as there are plenty of saints’ names to use.
- The Vihdesteya - Champion: The Vihdesteya leads the velaatha and mahyaas. This leader only answers to the people of the Valgaartiran and Mërakh din’Üsarr. The Vihdesteya seeks approval with the Mërakh din’Üsarr to carry out plans in preservation and favor of the Valgaartiran but confers with the mirkhanen to carry out those plans in a way that is logistical effecient.
