Vinde Yal Mäsvyel

To the far North, under a heavy blanket of snow, is Vinde Yal Mäsvyel. Vinde Yal Mäsvyel is the coldest province, the most unforgiving, and the smallest. The entire province encompasses two, very small cities, and the Temple of Mazarath. The Andeamer of this province love their land and live very comfortable in the snow despite very little comforts. Scattered throughout this province are various nomadic tribes. Some have small settlements in the mountain ranges, but many remain nomadic and follow their food sources. Typically, these tribes move towards the foothills during the winter and in the summer and spring return to the mountains. The people of Vinde Yal Mäsvyel are renowned for their survival skills as well as hardened beauty. These Andeamer appear to be snow-white, often with silvery eyes and hair.

The city of Vihron lies in the southeast corner of the province and is the only stop for travelers coming from eastern-coastal Vindyarr Khrïn. Vihron comes from the nomadic tribe Gyrrihzag settling and becoming successful traders. The tribal clan of Arihyaan followed this example and settled the city of Aarion on the opposite corner of the map. Aarion however, generates more traffic due their proximity to the Temple of Mazarath.

The Temple of Mazarath was constructed only 100 years after the war, by what little survivors remained. Why is was built in such a hostile environment remains a mystery, but many believe it was worshippers escaping the radiation of Zyendil Maar. The Temple was built from the very granite of the Velsïah din’Sädthäs volcanic ranges and has stood strong since. This temple is the headquarters for all of Mazarath’s followers and houses the Oracle of Mazarath.

The Velsïah din’Sädthäs, literally the Gate of the Void, is said to have been created by the gods Mïzäirn and Marëkhs. Its purpose is to house a portal into the Void that had opened on Ënokh in an effort to cull the Voidly invaders. Two grand, enormous statues of these gods stand on both sides of the gate, arms locked across the arch, standing as eternal guardians.

Directly above this beautiful landmark, sits the Temple of Mazarath. Here, the High Priestesses congregate when not traveling Ënokh in their holy missions. Many pilgrims are welcomed here daily. It is a sacred, holy place for the Andeamer, and being the one of the tallest points on the continent, it brings them closer to Ursanihstyn. Ursanihstyn is what the Andeamer call the Big Dipper constellation. Their beliefs say it is a portal into the realm of the gods and to Mazarath. Each of the seven stars is named after their seven gods, the divine children of Mazarath.
