Description

A short plant that grows in tendrils across the ground sprouting broad fluffy leaves. Growing beneath the ground is a thick, dark-colored root.
Although it is extremely bitter tasting, chewing on the root provides temporary relief from the cold weather. Those that chew it experience a feeling of warmth passing through their body, and a sense of renewed strength. A creature that chews on an ounce of kanishta root for 1 hour automatically succeeds on the next Constitution saving throw it makes against extreme cold in the next hour. The ounce is then used up and must be replaced to continue this benefit.
