Fairy

The fairies, or fey, along with the elementals, celestials, and dragons, are one of the so-called Elder Races, here on Fulcrum as a direct result of the Creator's influence at the start of the Creation War. After the end of the war and the beginning of the mortals' time on Fulcrum, the fey retreated through the Ethereal Plane and into a place the created itself in response to their presence: the Feywild. The feywild is ruled by fairies called archfey, so powerful that they rival demigods in sheer strength and the nature of the plane itself bends to their will.
Most fey however, are nowhere near the heady heights of the archfey. Some have their own little spheres of influence, but most are basically the fey equivalent of peasants, just living their lives and getting by. Some even decide to cross over into the Material Plane for their own reasons, becoming adventurers on occasion.
