Night Caravans

Night Caravans are what the other races call the large groups of drow wagons that travel the lands of the Nineward Coalition trading with more the more stationary elves and members of other races. Caravan sizes range from a few dozen wagons to hundreds and can often change as families grow, caravans merge, different groups of drow join other caravans, or even split off to form entirely new caravans. A typical Night Caravan is stationary and much less active during the day (owing to the drow sensitivity to bright light) and travels or does business at night, hence the name. Governance of the individual caravans is done by consensus which, given the haggling nature of most drow, can take quite a while (often several days) to achieve.
