Personal history

Alwin grew up in the Gilven manor alongside hissibilings, but just over 40 years ago, he had left home after feeling neglected and like he wasn't being treated as an equal. Afterwards he stared a tavern, The Sapphire Star, in Narss and amassed a large wealth. He is now investigating some strange occurrences and some looming danger to Fund.

Education

Had formal education for standard schooling, magical studies, and combat practice. Though he was never adept at combat and could never make practical use of most magic so he focused completely on formal studies

Accomplishments & Achievements

At a young age (for an elf) he started a business and became the most successful tavern owner outside of Paramour
He is still proud that even during his 'excommunication' Kel-Dai stayed in touch with him and updated him when he could
He has conducted numerous studies into the world of Fund and how it functions and holds pride in this achievement
He is happy he was at least able to talk to Er-Lan before he passed away
He feels pride that Galileo had approached him about a relationship, and while undecided at first, is more than happy he went forward with having a relationship

Failures & Embarrassments

While he would not change much about his past at all, he still wishes things could have happened differently
After nearly four decades to think about it, he wishes he could've had a better relationship with his brother but no longer knows how to properly explore that
He hates that for most of his life, he has been relatively defenseless

Mental Trauma

Even though its only in the back of his head nowadays, he still feels like he has to prove himself against his twin brother, which has shaped much of his current life
After his kidnaping by the Hidden Devil was orchestrated by an unknown party, he has not felt safe with anyone save for his family and those who are not even from Fund, to the point that he feels uneasy working alone in his own workshop. Even now that he knows some magic he still feels unsafe alone
After being subject to overdosing on Ichor, he feels both ashamed of the fact that it happened, and that because of its effects he still finds himself idly thinking about Ichor 
He is aware of many secrets and situations that the citizens of Fund are better off never knowing about

Intellectual Characteristics

Alwin is incredibly clever and smart, having intimate knowledge about most things people would talk about, and even more about the things people don't know about. He has used his vast knowledge and intelligence to further his business and make deals to amass a vast wealth
