Anatomy

The Arcanians are physiologically very similar to lupin, save for the fact that most do not have tails and all Arcanians have at least one set of horns, but can go up to 3 sets. Though having a tail and more than a single set of horns are both extremely rare

While they mature very similarly to humans, Arcanians will usually live to the age of 150 without any outside factors being introduced

The Arcanians live on a forested planet with most of the world being covered in large grassy plains.

The Arcanians are largely herbivorous, but can sustain for a short time on meat alone

Social Structure

Arcanians had long ago developed a near utopian society where all are equal to each, they have no ruling body and the society itself moves forward with arcane innovations and experiments. This is how they had even developed their magic to a level where they could attain space travel.
Though lately, their society has started to slowly unravel with the introduction of races other than their own bringing foriegn ideas and technologies

Average Intelligence

Most Arcanians have a large encyclopedic knowledge on magic and its inner workings, but a are severely lacking on knowledge of most other fundamental matters of the universe, such as basic physics and math

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Arcanians are extremely sensitive to magic and can usually use it freely with little practice, and because of this most of their society had developed to include magic nearly everywhere

Civilization and Culture

Average Technological Level

For the entirety of the Arcanians history, all of their technology has been based on magical principles and its innovations, to the degree that most Arcanians do not understand simple physical laws of nature such as the idea of gravity as a constant force throughout the galaxy and how it shapes our worlds since they can so easily ignore this with the use of magic. Much of their technology is geared towards magical study and the betterment of daily life since the species as a whole had left behind the concepts of countries, leading governments, or even war. While their natural age limit is around 150 years old, because of they're magical developments, the average Arcanian usually lives to around 400 years as long as they continue to live on their homeworld.
While their society has developed to become almost entirely pacifist this has led to a new and very prevalent problem, the Arcanians lack any meaningful weapons or fighting force to defend themselves, and continue to exist under a non-aggression policy, hoping this keeps them safe

Common Dress Code

Most of the Arcanian clothing has developed to look rather close to the Inca empires style of clothing, with many blue, white, and black motifs

Common Taboos

The Arcanians saw any form of non magical 'resurrection' as a terrible thing that only destroyed the soul, and created a soulless copy in place of the original person. As a result any adventuring ship made in, or coming to the Arcanian home planet had its 'matter replicator' removed or destroyed
