Scribs are capable of living in most environments. They are just as comfortable in a desert as they are in a swamp

Dietary Needs and Habits

They dont require any physical good and instead feed off of magical energy, they prefer to do so with negative magic, such as Demonic or most forms of Outsider magic. This has no effect on magic that is actively being used, but will lower the ambient magic in area, even halting corruptive forces in some cases

They are extremely easy to domesticate and are favorite familiar for magic users that are skilled enough to summon them

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Those that truly want to can butcher a scrib and takes its heart. Their hearts are very effective at storing the magical energy that they are around, making the 'magical banks'. Consuming their heart can either restore ones magic for the day or even augment their own magic depending on the Scrib's 'diet'

Average Intelligence

Scribs are not too intelligent, and are about on the same level as some dogs. They are very curious and will investigate most things, especially sentient races they are unfamiliar with

The Druid Waller keeps some Astral Scrib on his island, though the exact reason is unknown
