Daughters of Mercy

The Daughters of Mercy were a group of world class mages created in response to the threat Vallum presented to the world. The first group of Daughters was made up of royal  members of Mercy how volunteered to themselves to the, then, experimental procedure to become a true Daughter of Mercy. Of the five that volunteered, only three survived the process, However they came out the other end of the procedure as living natural disasters capable of destroying whole cities on their own. These first three Daughters fought against the Vaal Collective and ended Vallum's plans with their own sacrifice. Since those times, Mercy has always had a team of three Daughters always ready to defend their empires ideals, though the first three would always be regarded as heroes by the people of Mercy, and all that came after could never match their magical prowess. With the decline of Mercy's morals however the title 'Daughter of Mercy' went from being synonymous with justice and heroic sacrifice, to one of fear, control, and ruthlessness.
