Eleven Sentinel

Appointment

Elven Sentinels are self appointed, but it is said that once they began their work, and proved that they were willing to commit completely to it, that it was like an invisible force guided them, pushing them to the next source of danger or conflict, keeping them endlessly busy and knowing no rest

Duties

Elven Sentinels are an old order of warriors who were sworn to protect elves after their expulsion from the Feywild. They did whatever nessccaery and fought whatever nessccaery to ensure the safety of their Kin

Responsibilities

Sentinels carry out an endless array of duties, that seem to never cease. Sentinels were well known for not having personal lives after they started their duties, no longer having the time or safety to do so

Benefits

While never mentioned or stated anywhere, it was believed that the sentinels were blessed by the Elven God, even without asking for such a blessing. Sentinels have never suffered from being Marked and live on until they fall in combat in their endless struggles to safeguard their race

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Most Eleven Sentinels only stopped being one after they were killed in combat. There are no recorded instances of a sentinel simply passing away

History

While the position was honored and significant before the First Era, with protectors like these nessccaery, it is widely believed to be a dead order now. They are no known living Sentinels and their way of life has become almost entirely forgotten by most people, only a distant legend in the modern times
