They are only found within caves and the Underdark, when exposed to direct sunlight, they dissipate quickly and disappear forever

while in caves, some adventurers will follow Flitters in the hopes that they lead them to magical treasures, though this proves more difficult for high tier adventurers as the Flitters are attracted to them instead

They are not very intelligent at all simply seek out sources of magic

They have perfect darkvision and a keen magical sense
