This is the name that elves give to an extremely rare occurrence when an elf is disconnected from their past lives and Arvandor

Causes

It can happen in a few ways, including the Elven Patron God himself punishing particular elves, or someone tampering too much with an elven soul. While there may be other way, these are the most common

Symptoms

Elves who are hollowed usually lose the ability to trance and instead sleep and grow tired However this is not always the case, as sometimes the affected elf may still be able to trance from their own lives with no problem, but may now actually fall asleep while trancing and misinterpret dreams as past lives
When a Hollowed elf dies, they are removed from the cycle of reincarnation and are not welcome into Arvandor, this usually results in them going to Limbo or Hell since the Elven god has deemed them unfit for any heaven
