Magic
Magic is the manipulation of a force on Fund, called the Weave. The Weave is a force of nature akin to how gravity is. Manipulation of the Weave has varying degrees of effects on the world depending on how its manipulated creating a variety of effects; from lighting small torches, to reviving the dead. The whole of the Weave is guided, protected, and managed by the Goddess of Magic, Mistra
There are several ways that magic can be accessed, though most having to learn how to do so, becoming Wizards. Wizards understand how to manipulate the weave from intense study giving them way more control than most when it comes to the use of magic, from increasing and decreasing a particular spells effectiveness to being able to create new spells with much less difficulty than most others. Sorcerers have a natural affinity for using magic and can learn to use it on a more 'natural' level. Their use of magic usually comes from their lineage, tracing their ancestry to some fantastical being that can either manipulate the weave on its own or bend reality in some way. Learning magic as a sorcerer is akin to learning how to balance as a child it takes time to get used to, but after doing so its second nature to them and no longer requires active thought most of the time. Paladins and clerics borrow their use of magic from Gods and other higher beings of similar power, though because of this close relation to gods, most of their abilities are not affected by conventional magical preventions, since a gods do not need to use magic and simply change reality in a way that comparable to magic Druids tap into the Weave through naturals means and instead of manipulating the weave they try to move with it to improve the world around them or let it create natural effects. This magic has rumored origins in the Feywild, with some of the first Ancients that were made there. Due to this druid magic is the closest to Elven Ritual magic Warlocks borrow the ability to use magic from powerful beings that have a natural gift to manipulate the Weave, such as Demons, Celestials, and Fae, though since they don't derive their 'power' from their patron, just the ability to use magic, it is more than possible for a Warlock to surpass their Patron in magical might Bard's magic comes from the first God of music, who altered the world and the Weave to make it possible for people to use a new form of magic that uses sound and music to create magical effects. How this was ever made possible is a complete unknown, though it's still in complete practice in modern Fundekein
Though there are other ways to manipulate the weave that are similar to traditional magic, but couldn't quite be called so
