Terantaur

Basic Information

Ecology and Habitats

They usually inhabit forest and other similar areas. They seem to despise plains and open fields.

Biological Cycle

Terantaur are naturally occurring elementals that can simply gain life after a certain amount of magic accumulates in an area with a large amount rocks. This will usually happen in canyons and deserts, and afterwards they make a pilgrimage to a forest. Though they rarely end up going to the closest available forest.

Behaviour

They are extremely docile despite there size and appearance. They roam the woods collecting and piling rocks into large groups before turning them into large boulders that they simply leave in the forest.

Additional Information

Domestication

While it is not at all hard domestic them, there is no real benefit since what they do naturally has no benefit to most normal people. Though mages will sometimes summon them to guard locations or as impromptu protectors.

Average Intelligence

They are not very intelligent, and could be closely compared to the average cow

Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms

other smaller earth elementals will fallow them hoping to use the rocks they leave behind.
