Telegraph across the UK was made up of cables that when over the Atlantic ocean although less than 25% across to the States that was sold to the UK by the republic of Ireland. To make up for the shortfall that was required to connect the remaining country’s cities required the copper from wind farms. The most notable was the wind farm in Rottingdean, The Rampion Offshore Windfarm.
The Salvaging of these wind farms allowed for the country’s cities to be connected. Once the infrastructure was in place a codebook was made. This detailed, the codes of three letters each telling a person, where the message is from and where is to be delivered. A typical codebook of locations can be found above the sidebar of this article, using the 'Read the Document' Button. For Governmental Messages, there is an extra Code book that is in the possession of Local and Central Government Officials. This is used in combination with a Cypher Wheel.
It costs 30 New Sovereigns per stop on the network for a telegram to be sent.
