What are the differences in Countries

Many Countries that have multiple provinces or states have broken apart to make various named versions of the original such as East and West Canada or the Union of the United States and the Republic of the United States. These countries, while having allies, with the other parts of the former countries, have their own autonomy. They have their own reasons for breaking up or becoming independent, mostly to be able to guide their own futures and destinies.

Canada
Canada had a separatist movement that was started in Alberta in the 1930s and saw a resurgence in the late 2010s and early 2020s. It had occurred, the western provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. While it was initially Alberta that kicked off the process of separation the other three provinces joined Alberta and became a nation in their own right. Meaning there are now two Canadas with similar names, those being East Canada of; Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. While Western Canada is made up of; British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.   What is notable about Canada is that the size of its territory has not shrunk it has slightly increased its landmass by now controlling the Southeast Inside Passage, taking the land from Alaska.
United States
While in the United States separated in two, along with ideological and political terms. While the Canadian version was along provincial lines and made the map look clean as the borderlines are former provincial borders. With the borders of the United States, there are now enclaves, between the Union and the Republic of the United States.
