The Ibiran Empire, founded in 2A 327 currently encompasses almost the entirety of the region of Ibiria. It is human-led, but has evolved to include a variety of non-human races like the Kath’Rakh and the Xhashali, and with its formidable armies it is the largest military power seen on Antreia since the high elven empire.

In the areas controlled by the Ibiran empire there resides a variety of races, although the Humans are the most numerous, Tieflings included. Kath’Rakh come in at a close second, their numbers most dense in and around the vast Samnite desert. There also lives plently of Smallfolk of both the Gnomish and Elfin variety in the large cities and smaller villages, and there exists a fairly large population of Surface Dwarves as well. The Xhashali are a new but welcome addition to the region of Umbra, and in addition to all the aforementioned there exists Elves, Goblins, Kenku, Centaurs and Kobolds who live in harmony with the other races as well. So called «lesser» races like goblins, minotaurs and kobolds, for example, are free to live in the Ibiran cities, and although life can be tough all are welcome to build themselves a home and a fortune in the south, regardless of religion or creed.

Latium is the region with the largest population, and it is also the most important in the governing of the Ibiran empire.
Samnium

Samnium is the largest of all the imperial province by territory, combining the entirety of the samnite desert with the north-central area by the *** river. Although the region is dry and hot almost year-round, there are lush jungles to the east, and beautiful oases scattered across the dry desert landscape. Culturally, the Samnites are famous for their discoveries in science and astrology, and Antium, the capital, is known as the cultural power-house of the empire.
Etruria

In the far south of the mainland of Ibiria is Etruria, a warm and humid imperial province mostly covered in lush, wild jungle. The people of Etruria have ancient customs and a different sort of lifestyle than the rest of the empire, and this has established the region as a unique gem of the south. Politically it holds great power due to its rich natural resources and the skills of their expertly-trained tribal warriors.

Galba

Galba is the smallest of the imperial provinces, not counting the newly established region of Elba. It is considered fairly humble by imperial standards, and although larger cities are established and do exist, they are scattered. Farming is Galba's speciality, but because the area is struggling with Centaur raids, small local farms have had to make way for large fortress-like establishments who can keep their fields safe. Being a connector to the North many ancestral northerners live in the province.
Tiber

Tiber, although not the richest nor the largest of the imperial provinces, has established itself as a stable and proud region with a rich cultural heritage. Being the last province that was incorporated into the empire, the people of Tiber are staunchly independent, and both its military and navy is considerable. The region is somewhat colder and considerably more wet than its neighbor Latium, which is thank in due to the impressive mountain range in its centre
Umbra

Umbra is considered somewhat of a "black sheep" in the imperial south, mostly due to its history of unrulyness and harsh climate; independent factions of tribal communities have been fighting over the region since the earliest settlements appeared in the south. With its combination of wet marshlands, open plains, mountains, jungles and volcanic activity, Umbra is a province filled with stark contrasts.
Elba

Elba, the newly established pet project of the Ibiran Empire is a small province containing larger and smaller islands to the south of the Ibirian mainland. Previously settled by tribal Wood Elves, pirates, and a de-facto group of Gnomes, the region has long been a thorn in the empire's side for its piracy in particular. With the establishment of "civilized" settlements and military strongholds, the imperials seek to turn this island paradise into a safe harbor for the Ibiran naval forces.
