Al´Rahiba

The house of Al´Rahiba was established by the infamous Pirate Queen Yadira Al´Rahiba when she overthrew the Republic of Yatangar in her bloody conquest.
During the Pirate Queens reign the house swelled in numbers as Yadira bore her own children as well as frequently adopting young and capable orphans into her family. Some interpreted this as a show of generosity and compassion for the downtrodden, while others say she only took these lowborn youths into her noble house to spit in the face of the established noble houses of Yatangar which prided themselves on their old and higher lineages.
The chaotic civil war after the Queens sudden disappearance was mainly caused by her heirs fighting over the succession of the throne. In this struggle of evershifting alliances, wars and betrayals the noble house lost a great deal of its´ former might.
What remains of the house of Al´Rahiba today is still a powerful force, for its´ remaining members are deeply entrenched in the political structure of the current Corsair League of Yatangar as well as still commanding the remnants of the infamous Dread-Fleet of the legendary Pirate Queen.
