Baris

The Bari are the dominant culture in the regions of the Barician Coasts and the coasts, rivers and oasis in the Khalud-Desert.
To the Bari family and the bond between family members is of high importance. Loyalty for the Bari people should first and foremost belong to their family and then their sovereign. Family to the Bari people isn´t limited to blood relations only but rather the family name. For that reason adoption is quite common amongst the Bari.
Barian Corsairs commonly consider the other members of their crew as their chosen family and for that reason are very loyal as long as they are treated as family as well on the ship.
Respect and the show of respect is also important to a Bari, especially towards their elders, invited guests and authority figures. In turn they are to conduct themselves as individuals worthy of respect, by upholding the dignity, integrity and reputation of themselves and their families.
