Filasal
The noble house of Filasal was established at the dawn of the Third Age through a coalition of nomadic barikian tribes of the Khalud desert.
After being defeated by the emerging house of Al´Rawatu they become loyal subjects of the future Caliphs of the Barikian Empire often serving as commanders and generals within the imperial armies as the borders of the empire grew further and further.
This service would be rewarded by the Caliphate by appointing the house of Filasal as stewards of the island of Yatangar. The noble house was greatly affected by the catastrophic fall of the Barikian Empire as many of them still served within the now divided armies of the ruined empire. And so the house dimished further and further as its´ members fell in battle or to assassination plots trying to restore order or claim power.
After centuries of struggle the house of Filasal now only holds power over the grand city of Alhafa and its´ surrounding lands, while formally being subject to the Corsair League of Yatangar.
