Halflings

Halflings are one of the smaller races in Gaia, they get on very well with members of other races and usually lead a peaceful, quiet life. However, anyone who threatens their home or friends will find a surprisingly brave and fierce enemy in these smallfolk.
All halflings are united by an inert importance of family and community in their lives. Some halflings live in settled communities and lead quiet lives filled with both hard work and merry festivities. Other groups of halflings move from village to village with their clan and find a home in their wagons.
Many young halflings are at one point in their lives also driven by a great wanderlust, which leads them to set out into the world in small groups or completely alone, so that most communities include a handful of halflings. These are often young, adventurous halflings or older halflings who have found a new family among the other races.
