Heimdall

God of Protection (a.k.a. The Watcher)

Many see him as an emotionless god, but the truth is that Heimdall is extremely conscientious and disciplined. At the same time, he feels great sympathy for mortal and is happy to overlook their minor shortcomings, indeed he is often more tolerant than other gods in this respect.
However, many also believe that Heimdall would willingly risk his own existence at any time if it meant he could fulfill a task entrusted to him.
For a long time, the Church of Heimdall was seen as a bastion of stability and security, its followers always protecting civilization from any dangers.
However, this changed dramatically during and after the gods fell out with each other. The number of his followers dropped dramatically. Heimdall himself dutifully stood by his role as guardian and watched over Olympus during this turbulent time. This earned him the displeasure of many followers of his own and other churches whose gods walked the world and mortals and those who suffered from all the destruction and chaos of the time. 
Clerics of Heimdall pray for new magic just after sunrise or just before bedtime in the evening.
