The Maiden of Pain (a.k.a. The Wiling Whip / Scourge Mistress)

Loviatar is the aggressive, dominating and fearless matron of torturers, sadists and tyrants. She is of a cold and cruelly calculating nature, her heart is long frozen.
The Maid of Pain has an instinctive feel for inflicting the greatest physical and psychological pain, always striking at the weak spot in her victims' emotional defenses. Unlike most bullies, she feels no pain herself. Her plans are often based on the inherent selfishness of all humans. 
Loviatar gets on well with Malar, she sees his way of hunting and killing as a particularly pleasurable form of torture. However, she has a strong bond of hatred with Ilmater, as he protects the victims of her torment.

The world is filled with pain and agony, and the best one can do is to endure the blows and carry as much pain as possible to those who resist. 
Kindness is the best companion for pain, because it intensifies the suffering. 
Let mercy in the form of absence of pain and through unexpected healings often do, but on a whim, magnify the mysteries of Loviatar's mercy. 
Unremitting cruelty will turn the people against you. Be seductive and give pain to those who demand it as well as those who deserve it or are most hurt by it. 
The whip, heat and cold are the three pains that will never disappoint the faithful. 
Spread Loviatar's teachings whenever the measure of punishment is found. 
Pain tests everything, but it gives strength of spirit and true joy to the hardened. 
There can be no punishment if the punisher knows no discipline. Wherever there is a whip, there is Loviatar- Fear it - and long for it.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Loviatar's avatar usually depicts a slender, beautiful, platinum blonde woman with a soft voice and sensual movements, but a cold, sinister aura, dressed in either boldly cut white silk with silver chains or black leather with spikes.
True to her principles, she enjoys inflicting pain on others, and also when someone tries to do the same to her, some stories even report that she deliberately exposes herself to attack. When her avatar is wounded, she oozes thick, black blood.
Manifestations show her as a floating black whip with the same properties as the whip her avatar can create at will, or as a floating female head that flies around laughing maniacally. In either form, she is able to cast magic just like her avatar and has been known to use the tip of the whip or a strand of hair to write and leave messages in black blood from time to time.
