Airships
Airships are if not the best way for long-distance travel in Gaia. As most small vehicles include automobiles and bikes, cargo, military and long-distance cruise-liners often use airships to get to point A to Point B.
Airships were championed by Silverwind for the longest time back in the early days, and it was not untill Icians of Sivudlerk started to build flying machines.
Of course the fact that beastfolk were the first to act on the idea of airships, after the first protoypes were launched. Humans grew jealous and started to make them bigger and supposidly better. This led to a global increase of airship manufacturing and the rise of several airship companies that built them.
Power Generation
Most Airships are powered by either Ather crystals, to diesal engines, even some have nuclear cores that run along side the ships. The later in the years the people got in Gaia, the more larger and advanced these ships became, and with it, the power supply had to get bigger as well.
Most ships run on a Mix of Ethenol and Aetherium, for a quiet and strong engine. While other louder machines use Jet Engines, to Diesel engines. There also was at some point that mana-infused ships were produced, but they were still a prototype.
Propulsion
AIrships use a system of Jet Engines and propellers, while the more simple ones are refered to zepplins, and use hydrogen baloons. Most Iarships use Jet Engines to stay aloft, and heavy use of Aetherium to keep the ships in the air without moving. They manuver much like a ship or spacecraft would.
There are several types of Airships that use different engines and Propellants.
- Aether Class
- Oxyos Class
- Diesal Class
- Zepplin Class
- Aquarius Class
- Atom Class
- Manaflow Class
