Drag'Catto (Draag-Kaah-to)

The Drag'Catto is a ruthless and devastating military formation done by Domingo Infantry forces. It is heavily inspired by the Earthen Tercio. It is further made intimidating by the sheer size and strength of a Domingo.

Composition

Manpower

The formation usually includes ten Domingo at it's largest and six at its smallest. When they come together in legions thier sheer power becomes relevant. They competly cause chaos in the front lines.
The tactic requres three to five domingo armed with heavy and bullet-proof armor weilding heavy polearms made to smash through and cut through any armor before them. While in the back there are three to five Domingo weilding large caliber rifles.

"All you hear is a loud continous crack of a heavy rifle in between the smashing and bashing of the domingo pikeman... It causes fear and chaos within the front lines."

Equipment

The equipment used is mostly heavy armor and with orders to hold the line and advance slowly. The Pikeman wield Dragonsteel armor with kevlar under armor. This entire set of armor is made for the domingo's body head to tail. It usually is etched with Draconic runes or atleast what looks to be draconic runes. The Domingo Language was adopted from dragons.
The Lineman behind the Pikeman are lightly armored, they are medium armor-geared folk, kevlar body armor with dragonsteel chainmail coats. They need to be the more mobile of the two as they only carry a small blade next to thier rifle and pistol.

Weaponry

The weapons are what make this formation frightning to enconter.It is heavily medeival based, but the Domingo have used it for al ong tiem and continue to do it to thsi day to much sucess. Again the major advantage to this is the Domingo's Phyisque and training.

Pikeman

The Pikeman are the name given to the heavily armored domingo that are engaged in front of the riflemen. They weirld a Heavy Domingo weapon known as a Calaphax polearm. This is a very heavy polearm weapon that can not be used effectivly by other smaller races due to how strong one is needed to carry and wield this weapon.
The Calaphax Polearm is a dragonsteel Bardiche that has a pointed end for it to act as a spear as well as a longarm cutter. they are decorated with runes and silk banenrs on the tip that often show thier unit name, or thier brood origin.

Linemen

The Linemen is the name given to the Domingo shooters. They are the individuals that stand behind the pikemen and shoot inbetween them with heavy caliber weapons. This Weapon is usually a 45. Xeocaotl Longneck, a Sasslisian Rifle or a 50. Magacant Anti Material rifle, A rifle imported from Massiez'Laire.
The 45. Xeocaotl is the most numerous weapon that is a bolt-action based sniper rifle that hjas been modified for frontline use. Usually modified with a close range to medium range sight over the scope, these domingo are trained to shoot in between the spaces of the Pikeman and into the enemy frontline.
The 50. Magacant Anti-material rifle is more rarer, and mostly received from smuggling and arms deals. This is a westernized anti-material rifle that operates on a semi-auto magazine. the kick back is easily remedied by the training and hulking size of a domingo marksman.

Domingo Made 57. Calibers

These are experimental weapons that are being designed by reverse engineering the Malacants and combining them with the Xeocaotl rifles. The sheer size of the bullet that comes out of this thing is akin to an infantry fighting vehicle's anti-vehicle turret. These have yet to be officially fielded, but some ambitious domingo smuggled a few out to a scary field test.

Tactics

The tactic is used during rushes and close range advances. It's design is to overpower and outlast the enemy lines by using a dose of psychological warfare with the heavy weapons being used. The Domingo have nearly mastered the use of heavy weapons. Most of these weapons can not be fielded by a single human and often operated by teams of them, or a vehicle mount, while the Domingo's size and physique is the reason why these are fielded as infantry weapons by the Domingo Freedom fighters.
The wall of the pikeman are there to asorb and attack as wel las form a wall in which the sharpshooters can fire from. It takes much training to be able to use the spaces in between the pikemen without friendly fire, though cases of this have been recorded.
