Goultani Aura (Gol-tan-I (not e))

The Goultani Aura is one of the auras of the Gaioforce, the Elder God magic source that encompasses the mystical forces of the planet itself. This aura governs Energy, one of the main cosmic components of the universe.

History

The Gaioforce Extinction

During the Gaioforce Extinction, the Goultani Gaiostone landed in an ancient mountain range on Dalterra, sending a geothermal shockwave of Goultani energy throughout the region. The influx of energies created various storm systems and volcanic mountains in this range, while the Goultani Gaiostone continually radiated its energy through the landscape. The mountains later became known as the Sholai Mountains and was popular amongst the dragons. These mountains were later conquered by Dahli when she retrieved the Goultani Gaiostone, able to sustain its power and use it for her Ascension.

RPG Features

Gaioforce Spellcasting

  • Access to the Goultani Aura of the Gaioforce allows the user access to its magical powers, subject to the spellcasting rules of their respective class/Gaioforce subclass.
  • Goultani Damage Types: fire, lightning, thunder, radiant & force
  • Any full-caster class (wizard, sorcerer, warlock, bard, druid & cleric) can add their spellcasting ability modifier to Gaioforce spell damage & healing rolls
  • Half-caster classes that do not ordinarily have spell lists (monk, fighter, rogue, barbarian) only get access to their Gaioforce spell list when choosing spells.
  • Gaioforce spells do not require Verbal components. Depending on the spell, Gaioforce spells may require material components if they involve the use of matter, antimatter, dark matter, etc, which could be pulled from the environment if it is present. In rare cases, a spell requiring air, fire or another form of energy may not work in certain environments, such as underwater or in the vacuum of space.
  • 5e spells listed under each aura-specific spell list can use the same Material components as they would use for similar Gaioforce spells. In other words, the Gaioforce satisfies the caster's material spell components when they don't have a monetary cost, so long as the spell they are casting is on their Gaioforce Spell List.

Non-canon stuff

Goultani Gaioforce Energy manifests through Goultani Gaioforce-users as thermal, radiant, electrical, sonic, alchemic (nuclear, chemical, ionic, chromodynamic), magnetic & kinetic.   -Weapons that can harness naturally occurring energies in the environment (ex. Weapons harnessing kinetic energy, being more powerful the more they travel) -Waste recycling programs that incinerates trash & bio waste within special facilities. They capture the thermal energy from the burn into energy cylinders, while capturing the toxic fumes from the mix into gas canisters. In Grettania, these companies would sell the energy openly, but only sell the gas canisters to the military or crime syndicates.   Telekinetics •Pyrokinesis •Electrokinesis •Aerokinesis •Kinetic energy manipulation (see Kinetic Counter & Power Stall)     Goultani Disciplines of Arcane Study -Infernal (thermal energy) -Solar (radiant & electromagnetic/light energy) -Mechanesis (mechanical energy) -Aeronesis (wind & sonic energy) -Electronesis (electricity) -Melonesis (chemical, nuclear, & molecular-type energy)   • Goultani Flare- A basic Gaioforce attack that charges a variable amount of Goultani energy, then launches it at the target.   • Goultani Pulse- A technique in which the user charges up the Gaioforce within their hands or feet and claps/stomps to emit massive shockwaves around the area. The range and power of the shockwaves depends on the user, but a master Goultani can use this attack to disrupt other Gaioforce attacks and disintegrate his/her surroundings.   • Goultani Wave- The user charges up the Gaioforce and releases it in a massive wave of energy. Much more powerful than the Rouzhai version, a master can clear entire battlefields with a single swipe and the attack can span miles before dissipating.   • Goultani Lightning- Since a Pluronis’ body can generate large amounts of energy, the Seregan must charge the Gaioforce beyond what their body can handle. When this happens, their body begins to spark from the unique reaction. When they finally release the energy, it is so powerful and unstable that it exits as a bolt or current of lightning, depending on whether they give it a defined path or not upon release. The lightning can destroy anything from large boulders to the tops of mountains depending on the user, and is almost always fatal if it hits an organic being. This technique is very advanced, as it requires Seregans to have a high threshold for power in their bodies.   • Goultani Beam- The user charges up massive amounts of Gaioforce energy in their body, then releases it in a large, destructive beam. The beam often has sparks and surges of unstable Gaioforce popping off of it, showing how powerful it is. It is one of the signature techniques of a Pluronis, as its large range and massive power are extremely effective in battle, capable of wiping out many opponents at once, blasting through other attacks, or damaging larger or supernatural foes such as monsters and even gods.   • Goultani Blast- The Seregan charges all the Gaioforce within their bodies and even emits it within their immediate area to continue charging, as it stays within their natural aura. When fully charged and his/her body begins to glow gold and spark with unstable Goultani energy, he/she releases it all in an outward explosion. The blast decimates everything within the blast radius (except for the user), can span several miles, and has the potential to be as powerful as a nuclear explosion. Anyone capable of using this technique is considered a master. The attack can decimate mountains with enough power, and even harms gods. After the technique is performed, the Seregan is completely drained of the Gaioforce, and must recharge before his/her spirit can produce it again. However, this attack is the most powerful Gaioforce technique known to the Seregans.   • Temperature Control- A Goultani can maintain a certain body temperature by generating the proper amounts of energy within their own bodies. This can be useful when in extreme temperatures, such as the freezing Cryatia region or the burning Vulcanara region.   • Self-Sustenance- An extremely advanced technique, a Goultani can use the Gaioforce to operate and sustain the body without the need for food, water, and oxygen. The duration depends on the skill of the user, but it is normally used when travelling in hostile environments, such as toxic atmosphere or underwater. It is also used when food or water are in short supply or unavailable. A masterful Goultani can use this ability to extend their own lifespans, but very few have shown the ability to do this     • Energy Redirection- Goultani can accept foreign energies into their bodies and channel it in another direction. One of the most common applications of this technique is the redirection of lightning, whether natural, magical, or generated by another Goultani. Energy redirection is an extremely useful technique, but could be lethal if performed incorrectly.   • Alternative Magic Sources- An enlightened Goultani can take all the principles learned in the Goultani aura and apply them to other magicks. Through various methods (totems, tattoos, extensive training, etc.) the Seregan can channel raw energy from other magic sources, such as Hytherean Lightning, Vulcan Fire, SunFire, Light, Darkness, etc. They can use this power in the same way that they would use their Goultani power, though the application may depend on the source of magic.
