The Danocode
Tenets of the Danocode
- There is no life until there is death. Death is the true beginning of life, for the true life is with full faith in Danos.
- Danos the Death Devil is an angel of fate, for all mortal beings will one day be on his plate.
- With Danos there is truth, that free will is a lie. When you serve in faith to Danos, we see together with one eye.
- Danos the God of Death, born to Cyr. Through impregnation from a devil on Neviron, Danos came to be. His domain of death, a gift from his mother, drove him towards his cause. For when he senses the dead of your armies ranks, you know that all is lost.
- Faith in Danos brings understanding of the dark, for necromancy is truth. From bending souls to raising flesh, the enemy will die by tooth.
- The truest of our faith shall never seek a lover, for not one of the living stain. For the only release a Danoman may find, is into a hoe that is slain.
- Those in our faith must serve Danos eternal, bring death to as many in his name. We must keep the balance between life and death, and shall not seek fortune or fame.
- The Church of Danos is for those who follow his will, but they are part of the search as well. They must contribute to the advancement of the dark, even if their actions send them to hell.
- Danos sends us to spread his reach, through word and mass death. We must free the people from their mortal chains; kill everything that still draws breath,
- There will come a day when Danos, in power & awe, will step foot on the mortal realm. The world will be reborn as his undead home, with only his will at the helm.
Purpose
The Bible of those who follow the Church of Danos. Written in Infernal, seemingly in blood. The pages are made of soft flesh, while the book is bound in a leathered flesh cover. The end trims of the leather resemble undead fingers grasping at the other side, holding the book closed unless one who studies the necromantic arts commands it to open.
