Bloodfire
A subset of the Rouzhai Aura that was created when Thatos fused the magic from his father with Rouzhai Fire. Bloodfire operates like Rouzhai Fire and is generally a darker red color. It can also move like a thick liquid, akin to blood or lava. Unlike Rouzhai Fire, however, Bloodfire is sourced from anger, hatred, warfare, destruction, and chaos. For novice Seregans, this source is drawn from personal emotions or their immediate area, while masters can channel it from the entire world. There are only three known users of Bloodfire: Thatos (its creator and the god of war) and his sons Goruk and Viko. Bloodfire users are capable of all the techniques awarded to regular Rouzhai Seregans, as well as some exclusive techniques.
Bloodfire-exclusive Techniques/Abilities
• Passive Augmentation: As powerful emotions of rage, hate, & bloodlust surge in and around the Seregan, their strength, speed, stamina, durability, and Bloodfire power increases. This gives them an edge in battle and can allow an Seregan to fight indefinitely. Masters can sustain their bodies off Bloodfire alone, rather than requiring sustenance.
• Telumkinetic control over weapons: Can control weapons telekinetically, magically teleport them to their hand or location, and reshape a weapon into another one (ex. sword to axe). Masters can use Bloodfire to forge weapons out of raw materials.
• Telepathic control over warriors: Can influence the minds of those experiencing emotions of rage, hate, & bloodlust. This influence can range from subtle suggestion to total mental control. Masters can command entire armies with this power. They can also drive on inactive emotions and flare them up in a person’s mind, then exhibiting control over them. War Cry & Infectious Rage are two spells that deal with this. Infectuios Rage: the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be infected with the user's hatred & rage until the end of his next turn. While in this state, the target goes feral and must use its Action to attack the closest creature, using it's movement solely to get close to targets. If their class allows them to make attacks with their Bonus Actions (including ki stuff), it must use its Bonus Action to attack as well. If the target is a spellcaster, they can only cast offensive spells (damage dealing) and they are too enraged to concentrate on any spells beyond their turn (ex. they can still cast Call Lightning, but they will not be able to hold it once their turn ends). If the target succeeds on the saving throw, they are immune to the bloodifre effect for the next 24 hours. Affected targets can make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw at the end of each turn to shrug off the effect, or any ability/spell used on or by them that would end charmed or frightened.
• Bloodfire Detonation: The user ignites the very blood of living and dead victims who have fallen in battle and detonate their bodies in a fiery explosion. On a bloodied battlefield, this ability is devastatingly powerful
• Bloodfire Corruption: Can corrupt an object or soul with Bloodfire magic to assume control, break down an opposing force, or release powers and emotions trapped within opposing barriers
• General Bloodfire Magic: Outside the abilities described above, Bloodfire can be used as a general source of Dakian magic.
