Imperial Revolution (2104-2117)

The later half of the twenty first century was scarred by the Global War Period and the situation did not improve by the early part of the twenty second century. From this, the concept of having a global human took root in a revolution started by Horus Wintercloak. He managed to secure many to his cause and fought for control of the world over skeletons of once dominating government bodies.
Demand for this change originated in the United States, Wintercloak's birthplace and spread globally as its idea took root in people suffering from decades of environmental and political failure. The creation of the Bio-Sphere technology was completed by Wintercloak's friend Max Günther, a German scientist. The use of this technology regulated an section of Earth's atmosphere and repaired the climate of the planet. Nations that accepted themselves into fledgling empire were granted this technology and would begin the process of repair that wouldn't be completed until the next century.
By 2117, all of Earth's nations and peoples had accepted rule and The Empire was proclaimed on September 6th. With it, human development countinued and the survivors of the previous decades of turmoil did carried on in a less bleak world.
