Second Age of Exploration (1969-2345)

The Second Age of Exploration is the period in Human history starting in 1969 with the moon landing and 2330 with the Second Nationalist Civil War where colonization of the species was launched throughout the Sol System. From planets like Mars to asteroids like Ceres, all of the solar systems resources were put to use to launch humans into worlds close to Earth. The first imperial colony was based on Luna known as the Gambit and would later become the capital of the moon. This would follow with colonization of Mars and the Jovian Moons where millions of people would flock to new homes away from Earth.   These colonies include:   Luna: The first Moon bases were founded in the twenty-first century, but after the Global War Period, they were abandoned. • Callisto - 2202
