Ares

Alignment: Chaotic Evil   Divine Domain: War, Violence   Divine Authority: War, Combat, Warfare,   God of War and Violence, Ares was a violent god who was the patron deity to warriors and those who fought before his fall. After his fall, he is a patron to those who would bring War to the guardians and commit acts of violence; during the Golden Age, Ares would, together with Athena, protect the world from threats, albeit a bit more violent and headstrong than Athena.   During the Dark Age, Ares would be the muscle of the Fallen and send his followers out all over the world, laying siege to the other gods' mortals' settlements and fighting wherever he could, eventually bringing Athena to battle and injuring her before being driven away by Baldur.   Holy Day: The Holy day for Ares is on the 1st of Sleipnir, and this day to the followers of Ares is called the Day of Blood, to celebrate it followers of Ares will make sacrifices to their god, usually animals, but followers are known to make human sacrifices as well. If a sufficient number of followers are gathered, it is also known that they will attack or raid settlements in the name of Ares or otherwise will attack patrols on the road to honor Ares through combat and violence, hoping he will give them a boon.   There are accounts during the early days of the Age of Recovery that some of these groups of followers were large enough to be a small army. That, when gathered, attacked and siege settlements and tried to take them through the whole month in honor of Ares, led by their strongest member.   Commandments of Ares
