Athena

Alignment: Lawful Neutral   Divine Domain: Wisdom, Strategy   Divine Authority: Wisdom, Strategy, Warfare, Protection   Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy, Athena is the patron goddess of strategists and the wise of the material plane. During the Golden Age, she, alongside Ares, would be in charge of securing the world and defending it against threats that may threaten it, safeguarding it against anything that may appear on or outside of it.   When the Dark Age struck, it tore Athena and Ares apart, separating the brother and sister on two sides of the world. Athena was unaware of Ares's fall till halfway through when she stumbled upon Ares in all his horrible wrath unleashed and fought a desperate battle to stop him from being injured and saved from Ares by Baldur and spent the rest of the dark age being the Guardians prominent military leader coordinating alongside her followers and assisting the other guardians where she could.   Holy Day: Athena's holy day is on the 13th of Khepri but is celebrated over three days in a festival that is for everyone to celebrate called the Celebration of Arms. On the first day, her followers will have a parade through the town led by their leaders and most senior members, giving praise to the goddess going from outside the city to the center, where they will light a decorative Brazier, which would be the signal for the festivities to begin.   The festivities include competitions for everyone to participate in with games of all kinds; however, the main event is the War of Commanders, which takes place over three days for anyone willing to participate. The War of Commanders is a mock Battle between two participants who take the role of Commander over off-duty guards or soldiers who act as their troops and then have a set amount of time to defeat the other Commander by giving orders and using their wit to end the other in time. The Mock Battle will continue till the start of the third day, in which the two finalists will lead their forces, including the other participants acting as their junior officers and a miniature war is fought between the two over the last day of festivities across the selected area with a prize for the winner at the end. There are other athletic competitions for people to compete in between the tournaments with prizes.   At the end of the three days, a final prayer is given to Athena by the winner of the War of Commanders, and the head priest blesses the winner with good fortune and wisdom as well as the wit of the goddess herself; it is said.      Commandments of Athena
