Morgan Le Fay (more-gun lay fai)

Alignment: Lawful Evil   Divine Domains: Arcana, Death, Eldritch, Destruction   Divine Authority: Dark Magic, Evil Fey, Winter, Witches, Knowledge   Morgan La Fay is the goddess of shapeshifters and evil Fey. She was close to Merlin during the Golden Age, rivaling his magic ability. This relationship went so far as to be more than just student and teacher into something more. Eventually, Merlin and Morgan felt it best to move on to their research rather than romantic affairs.   When Morgan eventually fell, her resentment of Merlin began to bubble to the surface as she started to construct plans to seek vengeance on Merlin. To do this, she aided Loki in the birth of Jörmungandr and Finrir. But Morgan did not stop there; Morgan traveled to the Feywild, corrupting it with a perpetual night and a death-like frost that still curses the land. While eroding the Feywild, she began to corrupt some of its residents, creating the first evil Fey to be part of her army. She led these forces in the Dark Age to battle, bringing about many nightmares of the Dark Age.   Holy Day: Morgan Le Fay's holy day is Arcane Fearann on the 31st of Esus. On this sacred day, followers of Morgan Le Fay are tasked with proving their strength. While following Morgan, they are expected to gain knowledge and power through magic. On this holy day, they are instructed to show what they have learned by competing for dominance in a tournament. All are on equal footing; only the best is expected to win. These tournaments often lead to changes in weather patterns as more powerful Mages of Morgan Le Fay can alter the local landscape around them. At the end of these tournaments, Morgan Le Fay will give the victor a boon and is expected to hunt down a follower of Merlin within the following year.   Commandments of Morgan Le Fay
  • Nothing is off-limits. People hoard knowledge like it is a treasure; it is your right to take what you want for your own gain.
  • Deception is a powerful tool. The less someone knows of your intentions, the more likely it is to succeed, so keep all at arm's length.
  • The world is run by the strong. To survive in this world, you must do what it takes to become as powerful as possible.
