The Children of the Whispering Mother is a number of humanoids predominately drow who serve the deity Bodia. They value silence and things whispered in the dark over everything else.

Culture

Belifes and culture of the Children of the Whispering mother are that secrets are essential to life. The people who follow this religion tend to keep to themselves and hide away in the mountains or in quiet places far from civilisation. The drow had initially started following the whispering mother and in turn were driven out of the underdark by other drow causing the religion to take on a more nomadic form.

The motivation of this religion is to simply stay where it is quiet. When they do talk to people or emerge from hiding it is to trade for essentials and for secrets or lost knowlege

Secrets are their main asset. No one knows how they know so many secrets but they seem to know many things they shouldnt.

History

thousands of years ago Bodia made herself known to a number of drow who had found they did not agree to the lifestyle of their fellow drow. Bodia encouraged The drow to flee to the surface and follow her more quiet life style. The likeminded drow gathered and became nomadic traveling across the world to find a place where Lolth wasnt abundantly present. the drow had found themselves in Harnen before the Wyld turned Feral and made friends with the talkative and accepting gnome race that was abundant there. The religion grew as the number of drow grew. It was welcoming to anyone who wanted respite from the bustle of everyday life and a number of other races werewelcomed into the fold of nomadic monks who sereved Bodia.
