Ruwei

A young Chiss recovered by the group from an Imperial Research Facility within the Maw Cluster. Marked as an Ozyly-esehembo, a Force-sensitive navigator, the Rebel Alliance requested the group deliver her and her brother to Rheas Pundar's rebel cell in preparation for its Ringali Shell campaign in the Core. Her ability proved invaluable in guiding the group as they operated out of the Ringali Nebula.
She grew closer to the group after her brother's death, especially to Surro and Ako'roshi. She began to spend time socializing with everyone and found ways to sneak onto missions. Eventually the group began to give her specific assignments to avoid having her stowaway.
As the Galactic Civil War came to an end, the New Republic began to consider where to utilize her Force ability. The group moved to liberate Mandalore from Imperial Remnant, during which Surro arranged an agreement to have Ruwei and several others labeled as killed-in-action. As the fighting on Mandalore wrapped up, the squad vanished to the Outer Rim.
With six years as a full member in Shadow Step, she has mirrored Surro and taken his approach to combat. She demonstrates a preference for pairing a blaster pistol with a melee weapon, but has been seen on multiple occasions practicing with Surro's sniper rifle. Kopunga has accepted her help as co-pilot and navigator to the unit's U-Wing.
