Bastion of Thundrous Justice. An ancient mysterious flying temple made of obsidian and bifrostium, capable of hurling great orbs of lightning. Recognized in Apostlery scripture as the "Vessel of Creation", and credited for the creation of Vaultkeepers.

The Twilight Vagrant. A ragged spectre encountered at the end of dark alleys, in the ruins of decadent cities, and in the shards of broken mirrors. At times an unlikely guardian, the sunken eyes of this shadowy outsider judge the greedy and powerful.

The Lord of Long Tables. A beloved eidolon of folklore whose magical inn is said to appear on enchanted nights, at the site of ruined taverns and guesthouses. A close friend to Brother Stranger, who brought the orphaned Sifara Ankhay to his doorstep.

The Whitewing Sentinels. Only a few Seraphs remain alive, growing ever more senile. A small faction have pledged to live for only one hundred years before passing on their ageless bodies to a worthy successor through the Ritual of Ascension.

The Crowning Sun. The Maker. The Way of Light. To his followers, triumphant Coronnus is the god to rule all gods. Coronnites nurse the healing flames that banish demons and the gloom, and elevate to royalty only those born chosen by stellar prophecies.

The False Immortal. Slayer of the royal dragon Fulvinus, and of Sifara Ankhay. With their stolen blood he performed the profane ritual that created the first Thieflings. He was cursed and hunted by dragons and seraphs evermore.

The Prince of Thorns. A rakish archdryad, considered a demon by some, who commands armies of scorpions and wasps. Associated with temptation, compulsion, and madness, and trickery.

The Martyred Tyrant. A terrific flame dragon who was slain by treacherous Desdramorn. The blood of Fulvinus runs through every Theifling, and as their devotion to his memory grows, his ancestral gift endows them with greater powers.

The Worldbird. First and most revered among the divine beasts (The Zodiac Wardens) recognized by the Tidesong Coterie. It is said that Gahlatea can hear any prayer sent upon the wind, and sing with the voice of the drowned earth.

The Impostor Serpent. A small, cunning shapeshifting reptile of the earth, who claims to be the brother of colossal oceanic Typhras. A breathless pseudodragon who hoards wealth for its own sake, and strikes dubious bargains with mortals for amusement.

Archdryad of Summer's Grace. Shaper of the first elves. When the dryads discovered Bloodbraiding, Arkadios punished Hyphatia, and chose Glorinarra's court as keepers of the art, so that the dryads could learn to shape life properly.

Lord of War Everlasting. A ruthless, megalomaniacal dragon who defends the sovereignty of the Drakkenthrones with mighty weapons and horns that cast explosive lightning bolts. His unfliching loyalists receive boons, and license to pillage in his name.

The Whisperer Below. Banished to darkness for sympathizing with the Seraph rebels, the dryad spread her fingers through the soil and began to learn. She stole the secret of Bloodbraiding from Arkadios and told her sisters, who shaped the fey's denizens.

General of the Seraphine Rebellion. Tempted by Typhras into discovering his true origin, Iscario learned that Arkadios had merely altered the divine form of humanity to create the Seraphs. He forced the tree to recreate mankind properly and was exiled.

The Gloom Worm. A demon of filth, indolence, and perversion said to haunt the dreams of guilty sinners. Sometimes depicted as a rotting slouching pig-nosed ape, his aura is a rusty withering malaise that festers in neglected places, particularly shrines.

Goddess of Ports. Our Lady of Mercy. Archdryad of kindness, enduring love, language exchange, barter-markets, and fair winds for travelers. She is ever fond of companion animals, and her temples are often safe havens for displaced pets.

The Mage's Mirror. Mannamere's silverly blue moonlight nourishes the dazzling brilleblooms that dwell in enchanted lakes. Manna coats the surfaces at dawn. And on a full Mesmer's Moon, lingerlight mirages hang in the fog that billows from the moonpools.

The Raveler. The many-armed goddess of fate, creation, mending and alteration. She embroiders the story of the universe into the cosmic tapestry. Her existence was revealed to Sifara Ankhay when she survived a spider's venom, inspiring her to heal others.

The Hordemother. A scorpion-tailed dragon who traveled to the Abyss with her companion, Norgaroth, and from Thaum learned the black magic of the enthralling Dreambreath. Though she was slain by Sifara Ankay, her offspring still terrorize the skies.

Hoperender. A dragon whose acidic breath was the terror of armadas, even before he traveled to the Abyss and learned dark thaumaturgic arts. When Sifara Ankhay slew his mate, Nagaroth, he was driven mad by an enquenchable thirst for vengeance.

The Rivermaiden. A dragon who basks at the bottom of large moonpools and waterfalls. Legend tells of thorned scales, fruit-bearing horns, and poison-cleansing tears. She is beloved by her shamans and dryadic servants, and feared by extractor colonists.

The Flower-Crowned Lord. A colorful Archdryad associated with youthful curiosity, and a noble fascination with human society and storytelling. A woodpuck fond poet's games and knightly feats, Priamvere is a meddling matchmaker and incorrigible gossip.

Archdryad of the Savage Wilderness. When her sister Hyphatia stole the secret of Bloodbraiding from Arkadios, it was Morphitia who perfected the science and turned it to art. Her Bloomborn creatures and awakened beasts roam and hunt on Sangeline's nights.

The Catseye Moon. Sangeline is savagery, passion, & revelation. The carmine light of Sangeline keens the sight of wild predators, goading them to the hunt. To attuned eyes she reveals the arterial paths of creatures as if glowing through their skin.

The Immortals. The first humanoid creatures to walk upon Gahla, predated among sapients only by Saurians, Dryads, and Goblins. Few remain alive or coherent. Created by Arkadios only to serve, each is a bespoke masterpiece but lacks reproductive organs.

The First Centurion. The Masked Queen. A nameless hero who earned a Seraph's adoration, such that they gave up their immortal body to preserve her soul. With access to ancient memories, she developed miraculous healing spells and became Moebia's prophet.

The Symphonist of Dreams. The prime moon of Gahla, who in its own orbit holds the mesmers Sangeline, Valzaletta, and Mannamere. A crystal-infused wonder whose slow, undulating light causes glowing lumestones to resonate softly with chimelike song.

Voice of the Abyss. Face of the Storm. Despised by all faiths and worshipped only by the mad and damned, Thaum is the gatekeeper to the nether realm. Night terrors haunt mortal sleep where Thaumic obelisks and gargoyles echo the songs from phantom stars.

The Serpent of the Fall. At the dawn of time, the colossal sea monster cajoled the Seraph Iscario into rebelling against the Allfather Tree. Then she consumed him, and laid the eggs that hatched the first dragons.

The Wavedancer Moon. Valzaletta's lunar grip recklessly casts the clouds and oceans with outsized power as it sweeps its path across the sky. Her pearljade gleam ignites the lumelines that streak across the ocean, guiding the great turtles' way.

The Frost Empress. The archivist dragon Vyraxis tends to her legendary hoard of tomes in her secret lair beneath the ice of Fryggidios. Her devotees maintain the library and collect tithes, exchanging lost knowledge for Deepshard artifacts.
Witnesses

Myth | Mar 10, 2024

The Ancestors. The scattered spirits of the dead, ground to dust by the wind and the waves. Visible only to believers, these glimmering motes whisper in places of power, and ignite into ghostly wisps where manna is offered with prayer and song.
