saitaka
The saitaka tree is native in the northernmost parts of Galedon. It is a small tree, maybe a few meters high, with a wide crown of branches. It has small, thick dark green leaves that get a waxy coating before falling down quite late in the autumn. It blossoms with beautiful light yellow flowers, and it produces orange, round small fruits (about 3-4 cm in diameter), that taste very sweet but also a little sour. They are edible with their skin, but it is very common to make them into juices, jams and preserves. They are a common offering to the Goddess of Frost. They are very nutritious.
