Salt

Salt is mainly farmed from the sea, and the main salt-producer is the towns by the sea in the southern regions of Galedon, including Whelwaig . Small amounts of salt are also mined under the Misty Mountains as a byproduct of Tamarite mining. This mountain salt is mostly used on the continent of Tamar and not sold anywhere else, because compared to Tamarite, it is not worth much.

Salt is also part of nearly all arriving trade ship's cargo. There is always demand and it doesn't spoil easily.
