Atgeir
The Atgeir are the stalwart warriors of Gökstad, frost elves whose very presence on the battlefield strikes fear into the hearts of their enemies. Each Atgeir is a living embodiment of the ancient traditions and martial prowess of the Issvaroan Elves. They are armed with deadly halberds, their blades sharpened to a razor's edge and coated in a thin layer of enchanted ice that can freeze flesh on contact. Their armor is a patchwork of repurposed materials—broken horns, spikes, and fragments of older generations' gear, all reforged into new forms. These warriors channel their innate ice magic through their weapons and armour, their eyes glowing a piercing blue beneath their horned helms as they fight. When an Atgeir strikes, the force of their blow is amplified by the power of the ice that surrounds them, shattering shields and cleaving through armor with ease. The Atgeir are the first line of defence for the Issvaroan Elves, and their resolve is as unbreakable as the ice they command.
