Austern - Winds and Chance

Austern is a tall, slender figure with feathered wings and windblown hair that seems to change color with each gust. The god's skin is the pale blue of a clear sky, and their eyes shine with the bright clarity of a gusty day. Austern is often depicted wearing a cloak made of swirling clouds, and carries a staff that doubles as a weather vane, constantly spinning and pointing in the direction of the wind.
As the god of chance, Austern is known to be both unpredictable and capricious, often changing the course of events with a sudden gust of wind or a gusty intervention. Despite this, Austern is also a god of balance, and often seeks to restore equilibrium when events have been thrown out of whack. Worshipers of Austern often seek the god's favor in hopes of gaining an unexpected stroke of good luck, or of receiving guidance when life's path seems uncertain.
