Butcherhood

Cardinalhood after Barren Blackcherry was seduced into working with the Kingfishers   The Butcherhood, a twisted shadow of the once noble Cardinalhood, was born out of betrayal and dark ambition. Led by Barren Blackcherry, a man consumed by grief and rage after the brutal slaughter of his family by the Fenris Tribe, this faction abandoned the principles that once guided them. Barren, once a respected ranger, found himself spiraling into vengeance and madness, and in this darkness, he allied with the Kingfishers, a group of ruthless dragon slayers with a taste for power and conquest. The Butcherhood became infamous throughout the Mooncrest Woods, known not for their protection of the land but for their terror. They razed villages, extorted towns, and left a trail of blood and fear in their wake. The once-green banners of the Cardinalhood were stained red, a symbol of their violent descent. No longer protectors, the Butcherhood embodied corruption, where power was taken by force and lives were seen as mere obstacles. Barren, consumed by his grief, lost sight of his original purpose, becoming a villain in the eyes of those he once swore to protect. The Butcherhood's reign of terror was a dark chapter in the history of the Mooncrest, a grim reminder of what can happen when noble intentions are twisted by vengeance and despair.
