Glint

The badger that died and his skull became the magical location of Glintmaw.   Hundreds of years ago, a tribe of nomadic Mousefolk found themselves lost in the Feywild. Their numbers were few, and they were starving... So when a mysterious woman offered food and shelter they eagerly accepted.   They returned to her home and she gave them bread and soup… But before they could eat, a great Dire Badger burst through the door and tore the evil Hag to pieces. The badger, old and wise, informed the mice that the food was poisoned, and taught them how to forage and defend themselves from the evils that lurk in the depths of the woods.   The badger, known as Glint, befriended the Mousefolk and stayed with them until the end of its days. The mice, ever resourceful, used Glint’s body to build a shelter. Their numbers multiplied and eventually the town of Glintmaw was established. Glint’s skull still serves as the entrance to the town to this day. Even in death, Glint protects the smallfolk, and many still believe its spirit watches over them.
