Hauld of Harfjörd - Defunct
Ruled by a Jarl. Referred to as a Hauld
Harfjörd is a long lost nation of the northern Yergralffes, known for its harsh and unforgiving environment. The landscape is characterized by towering glaciers, frigid tundras, and treacherous icy waters. The climate is bitterly cold year-round, with bone-chilling winds and blizzards being a common occurrence.
Despite the harshness of the environment, the Yergralffes who once called Harfjörd home were a resilient and proud people. They were renowned for their formidable warriors and skilled hunters, who were able to thrive in the harsh environment and fend off any threats to their homeland.
The Yergralffes had a deep respect for the natural world and the spirits that they believed resided within it. They had a strong connection to the animals that roamed the icy tundras, and many of their cultural practices and beliefs were centered around the idea of living in harmony with nature.
Since the fall of Harfjörd, the nation has been lost to the world, and much of its history and culture has been forece further north to Valhedge. The region is now largely uninhabited by the yergs, with only a few scattered settlements and the ruins of ancient Yergralffes structures dotting the landscape. The arctic dwarves have taken any of the cities that were once home. The few who do venture into this frigid land do so at great risk, as the climate and terrain are still as harsh and unforgiving as they were in the days of Harfjörd's glory. The Verki Clan still holds that they will gather their forces and take back the Berg Verki. The truce that gave away their land was dealt by the Six, thus the Verki and all from the north have a disdain for Orich and the Six who gave away their land to stop a war and continue getting resources from the arctic dwarves.
The country of Yergs from before the Arctic Dwarf war, now renamed to Orichlan
The Silverstaffs lived here when the Black Fog began.
Harhan the First was famous for his rule of this land
