Longfin Dragonfish
The longfin dragonfish is a mysterious and elusive species that is adapted to living in extreme environments, such as the acidic waters of the Firefang Jags. This fish is known for its elongated, dragon-like fins. Its skin is thick and slimy, a protective adaptation that helps it to survive in corrosive water.
The longfin dragonfish is actually quite small, reaching a maximum length of only about 4 inches. It is a nocturnal species, spending most of its time hiding in the shadows and emerging only at night to feed. It is an efficient predator, using its sharp teeth and lightning-fast reflexes to catch smaller fish and invertebrates.
