Uthgar - Fire and Oaths
God of Fire and Oaths
Uthgar, the God of Fire and Oaths, is a fierce and unyielding deity. He is often depicted as a powerful dwarf, with hair that blazes like a lion's mane and skin adorned with glittering yellow diamonds. His clothes are stained with soot and the blood of those who break their vows.
Uthgar is a god of great passion, and his flames burn with the intensity of his convictions. He is a deity of oaths and promises, and holds the breaking of a vow in the highest contempt. Uthgar's followers believe that to break an oath is to invite the god's wrath upon oneself, and so they are steadfast in their commitments, come what may.
In his anger, Uthgar can be a fearsome sight to behold. His eyes smoulder with an intense heat, and his voice is like the crackling of flames. But when his followers keep their promises and fulfill their oaths, he is a god of great generosity, and bestows upon them his blessing, allowing them to draw strength and power from his fiery presence.
