Vampirism

Vampirism is a condition that bestows upon the afflicted a series of powerful abilities. Those who suffer from vampirism possess enhanced speed, limited flight capabilities, and greater strength. They are able to move freely in the sunlight, but their powers begin to wane as the day wears on. To maintain their powers, they must feed on mortal blood at least every two days. Some vampires are also known to possess the ability to manipulate shadows and even transform their bodies into smaller bats or larger gargoyle-like creatures.
