Personal history

Raph was born in 1878 in the small town of Gellner, Ios shortly after a miscarriage. His father had left him at the age of 3 to find work in east Ios. Raph's family were quite rich as the mother worked in as a managing director in Alkmey Bank. As a result, Raph did not have a lot of exposure to his family, and was lonely for his childhood.
He said himself he was not bullied, but it felt like it to himself when people avoided him in many situations for him being a bit of an oddball as a kid (odd hairstyles, weird sense of humor, etc) this could contribute to him being aggressive towards some people.
Raph was in multiple domum schools (similar to a boarding school) and made a important friend named Otos Opheltes who said later on that Raph was quick to anger with trivial things a lot of the time, but was actually smart and could speak incredibly well. He had a great interest in baking once he got out of school, and decided to open a baking school named the Nodrurat Bakery.
That eventually failed once he ran out of money, and was soon living on the streets living off of samples he sold on the streets as Raph's father had died in his hometowns hospital from a stroke. After this, he went back to school to try and get a baking store once again, and he met a very important professor, named Arnav Mai. The reason why he is important, is that he was essentially the first person to come up with the government system of a Dictatorship. He quickly became friends with Raph, and likely took a lot of his extreme ideas from him. Sources also say he was what picked Raph back up on his feet to do something about Ios' state, as Raph was madly patriotic for Ios. After his death in 1904, Raph was (reportedly) overwhelmed with grief, and Raph had a plan to carry on Mai's idea of a incredibly strong government.
Ios was in a terrible state as it's economy was very poor after a unsatisfactory government causing major civil unrest and it looked like a civil war was on the horizon for Ios. Raph then decided to made his own party to build up Ios, which was the DA (Dictator Association). Few people had been interested until a unclear incident happened when Raph "threatened a news station" to feature his organization. After months of this incident, millions knew his organization, whether they liked Raph or not.
Raph's popularity skyrocketed as he gained more and more members. Despite this, the government was still not very keen on making him a Dictator as he was clearly racist. Marquis Sere still decided to make him Vice Pegot (basically a prime minister) and once Sere died in 1907, Raph immediately went to power in the next election of 1908. He later went to pimp up his military, completely people of their rights, and even cause a genocide that lasted for an agonizing 3 years.
Once WW1 ended, he escaped to the barren frozen islands east of Arian, and was later found dead in his modest house in the frozen mountains of Chadorag, from a self inflicted wound in the chest.
